White Rabbit Gallery
Located just outside the CBD in the trendy suburb of Chippendale, White Rabbit Gallery contains one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary Chinese art. Housed in a former Rolls-Royce service depot from the 1940s, the gallery space was refitted by architect William Smart – but since it can fit only a fraction of the collection at any one time, there are two new exhibitions per year. It also has a charming street-level teahouse.
